Our commission was to design a new connecting structure between the two existing wings of Secure's factory. This addition would not only improve people flow within the building, but it should offer a moment of joyful and inspiring rest for the workers. The proposed playful arrangement of stained glass windows creates an ever-changing internal space, depending on the time of the day and the year.
For the construction of the facade, reclaimed rubble stone, originally found on the site, and repurposed window frames from Secure's first factory, were used as a testament to the client's commitment to sustainability.
